It was nice on Tuesday for me to be able to sit back and enjoy the last 20 minutes of our 4-0 win over Hednesford knowing the win was in the bag but on the pitch we need to be concentrating for the whole 90 minutes. The Knitters go to neighbours Nuneaton Borough on Monday night for an eagerly awaited derby before entertaining Steve Claridge's Weymouth tomorrow week. ?We now have games against three teams in the next week who are all capable of winning the title, so our standards must remain high.?

?We've made a solid start and that's it,? said Thomas. Thomas reckons it would be easy for his side to feel comfortable with a four point haul from two games that has taken them into pole position but he stresses that it is August and not May. League leaders Hinckley United go into their Bank Holiday programme on home soil against Tiverton Town with manager Dean Thomas stressing his men must stay focused.
